Our biannual STAR Awards offer the chance for staff to come together and celebrate the achievements of themselves as well as their colleagues – within this evening, we also highlight our long service members of staff who have been valuable members of the college for many years.

BTC Extra is our own employee discount scheme, offering fantastic discounts with local and national retailers in store and online.

We offer our staff highly competitive, generous pension scheme with Teaching Staff having a 28.7% Employer Pension Contribution and Support Staff 20.3% Employer Pension Contribution.

We offer a Cycle to Work scheme which offers staff the opportunity to purchase a bike or cycling accessories up to the value of £2,000 and make a tax saving.

• Support Staff receiving standard annual leave, plus two additional weeks off at Christmas during the College closure
• All BTC staff also receive two additional wellbeing days per year, recognising the importance of rest, recovery and personal time.
