The Walled Gardens of Cannington held a mixture of fun Easter activities, which saw over 600 visitors of all ages attend the Gardens over the Easter weekend.

Children were able to complete an activity booklet with tasks and questions for them to answer, before being awarded a chocolate bunny, drink and chocolate lollipop.

Helen Plumley, who visited with her daughter said,

“We had a fantastic time visiting the Gardens today. Our daughter loved taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt, and hopping across the formal lawns, the day was topped off by her receiving a big chocolate bunny!”

Patricia James, who visited with her two grandsons said,

“As usual, great value, good fun and very courteous staff. Although it was drizzling the boys (and my daughter and myself) thoroughly enjoyed the morning and were ecstatic to have chocolate given to them! Even more so when they went to claim their free drink and were given more! Well done all for a great experience.”

The Walled Gardens has events throughout the year, including the Festival of Wildlife on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May. If you would like more information about The Walled Gardens of Cannington, visit www.canningtonwalledgardens.co.uk.
