Bridgwater College International welcomed its second group from Huifan Education Institute.
The Principals of twenty-three Chinese nursery schools recently attended intensive training in Early Years at Bridgwater College, to learn more about systems, curriculum, Forest School and UK pedagogical approaches.
Delegates spent one week with staff from Bridgwater College’s Early Years department, who provided training on subjects including merging two cultures, learning styles, planning and observation, and Forest School practical sessions. The visit aimed to provide the visitors with information and skills to take back to China to implement in their early years’ settings.
As well as seminars, the group were able to embrace British culture and visit sites such as Oxford, London and shopping in Bicester Village!
Miss Wen, CEO of the Huifan Education Institute said,
“We are delighted to have a strong relationship with Bridgwater College and we want to build on this further in the future by sending more groups.”
The trip ended with an awards ceremony at Bridgwater College’s newest venture, The McMillan Theatre, where all the delegates received certificates.
Marie Lizion, International Business Manager said,
“Welcoming visitors from overseas, taking time to exchange cultures and knowledge make us all so culturally richer.”
