The College does not sell energy drinks, and tutors can see an improvement in the concentration levels of students during classes.

Scott said,

“It is an honour to win this award. We, at the College, try very hard to ensure our students eat healthily and make sure meals are cooked from scratch using local, quality ingredients. We also make sure that healthier meals are cheaper than the luxury items, meaning that everyone has the opportunity to pick a nutritious and balanced meal.”

Bridgwater College provides free College meals for eligible students, which are set menus, all with healthy options, such as jacket potato, filling and hot drink. The Catering team can also help students who are progressing to university by providing them with tips on supermarket shopping and cooking meals from scratch.
