The Walled Gardens of Cannington will be celebrating Father’s Day at their free annual Summer Fair on Sunday 19 June, 10am – 4pm.
Visitors can peruse a number of food stands, which are bound to satisfy taste buds, as well as enjoy a variety of family activities on offer. Bubble Man will be back by popular demand, as well as a face painter, bouncy castle, trails through the Gardens, a band, lawn games, stalls, and much more!
A visitor from last year, Kyla Harding, from Wellington said,
“I had a fab time. It was a well organised event with lots of fun for the whole family!”
The Walled Gardens have a number of upcoming events and outdoor theatre performances throughout the summer, including:
- Macbeth, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 June, 7pm
- Gulliver’s Travels, Thursday 14 July, 7pm
- Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Saturday 23 July, 10am – 4pm
- The Smartest Giant in Town, Saturday 20 August, 5pm
- The Canterbury Tales, Friday 26 August, 7pm
