Bridgwater College will be holding three free events for local businesses in Bridgwater, Taunton and Highbridge, about the new Apprenticeship Reforms and Levy, due to be introduced next year.
The information and consultation events will look at how the reforms affect businesses and how Bridgwater College can support them. The newly merged Bridgwater and Somerset College Apprenticeship Development teams will present information on Frameworks, Standards, Levy, Funding Caps, Assessment Plans etc.
These reforms will affect many businesses, so knowing this information is critical. Bridgwater College can help businesses to understand the reforms and are looking to consult with them to help design a solution that best fits the needs of the local business community.
Businesses are encouraged to use these events as a way of gaining information, for consultation, to ask questions, and to discuss the issues with other employers and with the Apprenticeship Development team.
The three events will be on Tuesday 5 July, 7.30am – 9.30am, The McMillan Theatre, Bridgwater; Wednesday 6 July, 7.30am – 9.30am, The Oaktree, Highbridge; Wednesday 20 July, 7.30am – 9.30am, Taunton Conference Centre, Somerset College. Please note there is a £1 parking charge after 8.30am at Somerset College.
All events are FREE to attend, and include a light breakfast and refreshments.
