Smiles beamed across the faces of students studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) at Bridgwater College after receiving their exam results.

The IBDP is an internationally recognised alternative to AS/A Levels and is designed for highly academic and motivated students, who have an interest across a wide variety of subjects. Students are required to study six different subjects along with Programmes CORE which makes up a maximum score of 45.

IBDP Coordinator, Martyn Aldridge said,

“We are very pleased with the outstanding achievements of all our IBDP students who have worked extremely hard to achieve an average score well in excess of the global average. Studying for the IBDP at Bridgwater College has helped them to secure places at universities that will set them up to be highly marketable global citizens when they go forward to build their careers following university.”
