Veterinary nurses are a vital part of any veterinary team and can be employed in vet practices as well as in specialised animal fields.
The facilities at the College include a dedicated veterinary nursing room. This area is equipped with a range of equipment, including an x-ray machine, resuscitation and surgical equipment, providing an excellent learning resource for vet nursing students. The isolation room provides the opportunity for students to practice methods of isolation and barrier nursing techniques in a real-life environment.
To enrol on a Vet Nursing course, applicants will need to be employed in a veterinary practice that has met the standards set by the VetSkill awarding body.
The College is not currently offering Vet Nursing but does offer a range of Animal Care & Management courses for adults here.
