Bridgwater & Taunton College Badminton players took part in the Association of Colleges’ (AoC) Sport regional championships at Plymouth Marjon University yesterday, seeking coveted spots in next year’s 2018 National Finals.

The standard is always incredibly high, and this year was no exception with many female and male junior GB players taking part.

Despite not making it through to the semi-finals Mawgan Andrews, Freya Kelly, Jamie Savage and Ben Whiting shared a valuable experience competing against the elite of the South West.

Looking to the future, with new Team BTC badminton coaching sessions next year, the squad aim to become better and stronger in order to compete at regional level.
