Bridgwater & Taunton College are only weeks away from receiving the keys to the Southern Hub of the National College for Nuclear (NCfN). Based at our Cannington Campus, the National College for Nuclear facility will provide state-of-the-art nuclear training facility including a virtual reality environment, a reactor simulator and computer-equipped training rooms; recreation and collaboration space, sports facilities and student accommodation.

Bridgwater & Taunton College delivering within the National College for Nuclear provide training and education for the sector including full-time school leaver Level 3 Extended Diplomas in Science and Engineering, an Access programme, Degree Apprenticeships and industry skills development.

Head of the National College for Nuclear (Southern Hub) Paul Goss said, “The new team are really excited to be on the verge of something very special. Being able to capitalise on our heritage of delivering education and training within the new NCfN southern hub is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We can’t wait to start delivery to those looking to enter the sector or for existing employees that need skills development”.
