Bridgwater & Taunton College student Callum Sherwood has recently accepted a place at Cambridge University to study Law. Callum is currently undertaking his third year at the College having already completed A Level Law (A), Economics (A), History (B) and AS Politics.

He decided to stay on at College for another year to improve his already impressive grades. In his third year, Callum is completing his A Level in Politics, as well as taking a full Business A Level that usually takes two years to complete. This means that Callum will leave the College with five A Levels, which is a huge achievement.

Callum, who lives in Bridgwater, plans to become a Commercial Barrister. Having enjoyed studying Law, Economics and Business, a career within commercial law will enable him to continue elements of each subject.

Whilst at the College, Callum has taken part in numerous extra-curricular activities such as debating. This helped him stand out from the crowd during the university application process. Callum said,

“I've had brilliant help and support from my tutors throughout my time at College, and their advice and guidance was invaluable through the Cambridge application process.”

Having accepted his university offer, Callum will be working hard over the next few months to prepare for his final exams. Everyone at the College is delighted that Callum’s hard work and dedication is allowing him to achieve his ambition.
