Team BTC Netball took on Truro and Penwith College for a double header. The game started slowly with both teams finding their feet but after the first quarter, it was Truro who were up on goals.

BTC started the second quarter with more confidence and tried to capitalise on goals which brought them closer to the Truro score and meant that they were still very much in the game at half time.

At the third quarter changes were made, with Leah Davis (WA) and Izzie Draper (GS) swapping positions, giving the game a different dynamic. This seemed to help the team in the final quarter as Team BTC came back to within two goals but unfortunately, all the effort and all the fight wasn’t quite enough to take the lead.

Result:
Team BTC 26  Truro & Penwith College 31

Player of the match:
Emily Rossiter (Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Sport, Coaching & Development).

Emily was able to read the game and her player exceptionally well, leading to a number of interceptions for Team BTC. Emily continued to be supportive down court, helping the team to bring the ball to the attacking circle for crucial opportunities on goal to keep them in the game.
