University Centre Somerset, part of Bridgwater & Taunton College, in collaboration with the University of the West of England and the NHS is looking to recruit between 50 and 60 apprentices to the new Nursing Associate Apprenticeship.

The Apprenticeships have previously only been available to those individuals employed within the NHS, but change is on the horizon. The NHS are now offering anyone the opportunity to take advantage of these Apprenticeships and welcome applications from people currently employed by the NHS or individuals looking to become a nurse or enter into a nursing profession.

If you are someone who would like to make difference, are able to work full-time and would like to earn between £17,000 – £20,000 a year, a career in nursing could be for you!

The prerequisites you will need to have are a Level 2 Maths and English qualification, a Level 3 Health-related qualification, or a Level 3 qualification in any subject with recent healthcare experience.
