BTC has received wonderful feedback about how it has continued to deliver to learners during the Coronavirus. “During the Covid outbreak the College has gone above and beyond to ensure that learning continues and we are kept informed of learning outcomes despite not being able to attend the College in person”, said one learner.
As part of the College’s positive response to Covid-19, Course Lecturer Nigel Cox redesigned two of his planned Horticultural short courses so that they can now be delivered entirely online, and has found Nigel teaching from his greenhouse and garden!
The garden is a wonderful place to find some relief from the anxieties and stress of the this current time, and Nigel’s courses are designed to provide an insight into what gardening can do for you both physically and mentally, and how to encourage a wider range of wildlife into your garden.
As well as teaching and caring for his garden, Nigel is also being kept busy with talking on BBC Somerset, being featured in the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust newsletter, and now with a regular slot on Gloucester FM!
