Here’s what counselling student Shaney Maunders has to say about studying at BTC:

Having been very interested in the human mind and the well-being thereof, counselling has always been a learning experience I have wanted to explore. Bridgwater & Taunton College has met and exceeded my learning curiosity.

My tutor, Max, is also a practicing counsellor, and he teaches with a realism of experiences that are enthraling to listen to. I have found the course well thought through with a pace of learning that is unhurried and allows for full learning emersion. The facilities are first class and the library is outstanding, with a full range of resources and really helpful staff.

During the Covid outbreak the College has gone above and beyond to ensure that learning continues and we are kept informed of learning outcomes despite not being able to attend the College in person.

Through his teaching, Max has really brought counselling to life, and instilled confidence that I have the skills to continue my training, I cannot rate the College highly enough.
