Team BTC’s Men’s Rugby team have put in a fantastic performance, winning 52-7 against St Brendan’s College.

After an hour’s delay due to traffic and a 15 minute warm-up, the BTC Men’s Rugby team started well and were quickly on the scoreboard. A great display of attacking rugby led to a 38-0 lead at half time. With the game well in their control, BTC were the slower of the two teams to start the second half, with St. Brendan’s having a period of sustained pressure leading them to go over for a try. BTC then reaffirmed themselves in the game with two more tries that took them to a final score of 52-7.

Man of the Match performance from Rowan Foster in the centres who attacked well from deep using his speed and deft hands to put BTC on the front foot.
