Men’s 2 Football
Team BTC 2 – 1 St Brendans
It was a slow start for Team BTC, when 7 minutes into the game, St Brendan’s number 9 scored. A great turn to get past one defender and he calmly finished. 20 minutes, a meticulous corner whipped in towards the back post and met the head of Charlie White, however it bounced off Zak Rickards Tilley and went in, both celebrated the goal. 1-1
With only 2 minutes to go, Charlie White rises majestically and scores with a towering header that hits the underside of the bar making it 2-1 to Team BTC at the final whistle.
Women’s Football
Exeter 3 – 5 Team BTC
Team BTC travelled to Exeter for their away fixture. Team BTC started slowly but despite that Barry scored twice in the first 20 mins. Exeter reacted and pulled one back before half-time.
Team BTC were more switched on in the second half and a clever goal from Charles put us further ahead. Team BTC maintained possession really well but struggled to create opportunities leading to another Exeter goal. Team BTC reacted well to this and scored again within a minute after conceding and a Garratt 30 yard free kick made it 5-3 at full-time.
Men’s Rugby
Team BTC travelled to Truro to face a strong and experienced Truro College side. Despite coming second best on the scoreline, the Team BTC players showed plenty of physicality and effort ensuring that Truro had to work hard to progress to the next round of the cup. Ash Higgins and Ethan Parfitt were just two of the many Team BTC players who came out of the game with loads of credit.
Netball 2
Team BTC 25 – 11 St Brendans
Team BTC Netball 2’s played St Brendan’s. The team showed a huge improvement on communication and worked well together throughout the game. Lots of players stepped up today playing out of position. Big shout out to Lucy Steele who was willing to play any position to help the team. The final score 25-11 to BTC.
