Bridgwater & Taunton Level 3 Dance and Performing Arts students were given the opportunity to partake in a workshop with West End performer Nic Myers.
Nic is a well-accomplished performer who has participated in multiple productions such as Cabaret in Paris and Back to the Future. Nic has taught the students on multiple occasions, her industry knowledge, brilliant energy, and words of wisdom have been invaluable to the students. She has provided insight into the world of performing arts, especially to those from a rural area with limited access to resources. The workshop highlighted BTC’s commitment to providing students with a unique and valuable learning experience that will help them grow and succeed in the performing arts industry.
Serafina Romano, Lecturer for Dance said,
Nic has a fantastic way with the students. Whenever she visits BTC she motivates and inspires the students with her own passion for performing. Her experience and knowledge of the current industry is invaluable for the learners. We are very lucky to have forged a professional working relationship with Nic through another BTC Alumni student also working in the industry. It was great to see the collaboration between students and industry professionals, celebrating a shared passion for performing. I’m very grateful to have been able to organise such an amazing opportunity for our students.

Nic is so supportive and creates such a safe environment to explore a style that we don’t normally do. Loved it!
