This event is intended for parents and carers of students just starting Year 11, and is designed to help you understand more about the options available within education once your young person finishes secondary school.

No matter what your young person’s aspirations, there is a suitable pathway here at Bridgwater & Taunton College, and we understand it can feel overwhelming when faced with multiple choices.

Many people find themselves in this position, as education is constantly evolving, and much of the terminology adapts to this. If you find yourself scratching your head, you’re not alone!

Let us help you get to grips with the options; whether A Levels and the International Baccalaureate, or vocational offers, apprenticeships and the new T Level offerings.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear from our experts about the unique opportunities from each of the pathways, their benefits and how they align with each individual’s interests, skills and career aspirations.
