The annual Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) Apprenticeship Jobs Fair has become a pivotal event for both employers and aspiring apprentices, offering a wealth of opportunities for collaboration and growth.
This year, the event witnessed a remarkable turnout, with record numbers of students coming to the McMillan Theatre to engage with a diverse array of employers eager to fill vacancies. Among the attendees were a mix of local, national, and international organisations, including esteemed BTC partners such as EDF, Mulberry, Somerset Larder, Environment Agency, Refresco, Taylor Woodrow, Yeo Valley and many more.
For potential apprentices, the fair provided a valuable platform to interact directly with employers, gaining insights into various industries and the accompanying training and career pathways. BTC staff members were also present to offer advice on the wide range of Apprenticeship courses offered by the College, ranging from Business Administration to Computing, Automotive to Equine, and Nuclear to Health and Social Care.
Head of Business Growth and Customer Insights, Lucy Hawkins said:
