Hairdressing Adult Learners Raise Money for Hair Loss Charity

Hairdressing adult learners at the Bridgwater campus held a charity head shave event yesterday in aid of Little Lady Locks.

Lauren was the model who braved the shave and donated her hair to the charity, which is

dedicated to helping children and young people experiencing hair loss.

Founded in 2018, Little Lady Locks  was created to provide a vital service previously unavailable for young people; the free-of-charge provision of bespoke solutions for hair loss in under 18’s across the country.

Fellow learner Nicole shaved and bleached Lauren’s hair. Emily, who is also studying Level 2 Hairdressing, then created a floral hair design to complete Lauren’s new look.

So far, the head shave has raised a total of £250 on Go Fund Me and a cake sale at the event brought in some extra funds.

At BTC, we are incredibly proud of what these learners have done for charity, congratulations!
