On successful completion of the T-Level qualification and a maths GCSE at grade 6 or above (or evidence of sufficient prior knowledge), you could progress to the University Centre Somerset to study our Higher Education Motorsport course.
Graduates from the University Centre Somerset are now working at Empire Race Cars, Xtrac Engineering, McLaren GT, Radical Performance Engines, Red Bull and Bentley Cars. Alternatively, you could find employment in the motorsport industry.
I’ve really enjoyed learning all about the internals of cars and what a car relies on to run smoothly. This benefits me in the workplace because I know how parts work when I come to repair or replace them. So far my greatest achievement has been passing the first year. I’m really proud of this because it means I’m on track to becoming a qualified mechanic.
