Our meetings are held in comfortable spaces with refreshments available, including hot drinks and biscuits, ensuring everyone feels at ease.
We take a holistic approach, with a focus on collaboration and a student-centred process where the learner is at the heart of each discussion. The review allows learners to actively participate, sharing their opinions and shaping their own outcomes, making them relevant, meaningful, and aligned with their future goals.
Each review also celebrates the learner’s achievements and focuses on building a career pathway suited to their interests and skills. Along with a strong focus on preparation for adulthood in the following areas: Learning and Work, Living Independently, Community and Friends, and Being Healthy. This comprehensive focus ensures that all aspects of life are considered to support the learner’s growth and independence.
Our aim is to develop an EHCP that accurately reflects the learner’s needs, securing the appropriate support and provisions to enable them to thrive. By empowering learners to voice their views and preferences, we help create a supportive framework around them, encouraging personal development and success in college and beyond.
