To celebrate International Women’s Day, The Women’s Staff Network held their Coffee and Cake event across all three campuses.

The day also sparked the launch of our annual International Women’s Day award. The nominations looked for inspiring female staff and students who work to advance female empowerment by promoting gender equality, advocate for women’s rights, support women’s health and wellbeing and encourage education and career development, especially in leadership, business and STEM.
In total, we received 116 nominations. Some of the comments included;

Her determination, kindness, and willingness to support others make her truly inspiring
A great ambassador for women in STEM
She engages in activities to promote the culture, ethos and values of our college
