Course Overview

The aim of this unit is to develop the knowledge and understanding to publish, integrate and share using social media. You will be able to identify the main networks and their features used in social media and why they would use them, you will also be able to identify the benefits and risks of networking of social media for an organisation

Units of study/what is involved

  • Know the current social networks used to publish, integrate and share online
  • Understand how social media is used by individuals, organisations/businesses, governments and social groups
  • Understand best practices for safe social networking
  • Understand the need for safety and security practices

Assessment Methods

Assessments are due at the end of each unit. Your tutor will assess your work and build up your portfolio of evidence of learning. A certificate will be awarded on satisfactory submission of evidence of learning for the units studied.

I decided to do Level 2 Business which I thoroughly enjoyed which made me chose to develop my understanding of Business and so then I went on to do Level 3 in Business. I have gained confidence, knowledge and multiple skills throughout the course and It has helped me to understand what I want to do in the future.
