Course Overview

The Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations -Supervising Lifts (Construction) qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification.

This qualification enables you, the learner, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Controlling Lifting Operations -Supervising Lifts within the construction industry.

Candidates will need to compile a portfolio of work-based evidence, along with an on-site assessment.

The qualification can take up 1 year to complete, depending on work commitments, and you will be given high levels of support throughout the process.

Progression Options

Learners may progress from the (NVQ) Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations ‘€” Supervising Lifts at Level 4 to a qualification at Level 5 in (NVQ) Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations ‘€” Planning Lifts (Construction).
