Course Overview

This course is designed to enable the horse and handler partnership to develop through the use of TREC – a sport intended to test the skills of a horse and rider.

Participants will work over a range of obstacles, including low branches and the bridge, at Cannington Equestrian Centre, recent winner of TREC Southwest’s Best Winter Venue award.

Navigate over the course with our BHS Stage 4 coach, Clare Dove. Learn how obstacles are judged on how accurately they are performed, develop and observe the willingness of the horse, and learn correct use of aids and position of the rider.
