The Royal Horticulture Societys (RHS) Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Horticulture is a new and updated classroom-based theory programme that can be taken on its own or as part of the Certificate in the Principles and Practices of Horticulture. Who the course is for
This course is designed for those who wish to develop a level of horticultural knowledge deemed to be essential by the horticulture industries. It is suitable for the amateur gardener and those wishing to gain employment in a range of horticultural industries. Ideal for career changers, professional horticulturalists or casual learners.
The assessment of this course is undertaken by sitting two examinations, one at the end Unit 1, then unit 2. (Spring and Summer term).
After further study of the RHS Level 2 Certificate in Practical Horticulture, students can progress to the RHS level 3 programme.
