Life’s challenges often test our resilience. As we age, it’s easy to feel that new learning opportunities or career shifts might be beyond our reach. But history is filled with tales of perseverance leading to success. Thomas Edison, after numerous failed attempts, famously remarked, “I’ve found 100 ways that won’t work, bringing me closer to the one that will.”

At 52, Susan Perring faced a similar crossroads. Made redundant after 14 years, she chose to see it as a new beginning. Enrolling in our Business Administration distance learning course, she recalls,

“After my redundancy, I took the course and, by its end, secured a new job. I began as an AEO Administrator for a Web Design company and quickly rose to an SEO Executive.”
