Fitness training, survival exercises, rescue, road traffic collisions, overnight navigation and working alongside the local community are just some of the things you can look forward to. You will also explore topics such as citizenship, land navigation, law and the legal system. Regular visits are made to local Police, Fire, Ambulance, Prison and Military services to get practical hands-on experience.

Many students join the 999 Academy where they perform community engagement activities, visit specialist departments and take part in live training exercises.
