In this AoC Cup game Team BTC faced an Exeter College team who came out hungry for goals. It didn’t take them long to get the first, quickly followed by a second. Exeter’s strength and skill on the ball caused Team BTC problems all over the pitch. By half time Exeter had netted five goals.
Team BTC looked most dangerous when they attacked with pace, mainly through Imi Constance and Annie Crawford, but sadly they didn’t manage to affect the score line. The more the game went on the more dominant Exeter became and they were rampant in the second half.
Maya Cox in goal was kept busy and the defensive duo of Sophie Pratt and Libby Chambers worked tirelessly to keep Exeter at bay. But the visitors were just too strong on the day, running away with a win and progression to the next round.
