The Heart of the South West Local Skills Improvement Plan identifies access to skills training as current barrier for the regions employers and people seeking training.

Our regions vast landscape and reduced transport links makes accessing specialist skills training difficult especially for those already in employment

In response to this issue BTC have utilised the Local Skills Improvement Fund to develop a fully online distance learning model for those looking to achieve their NEBOSH qualification.

The specialist learning resources, interactive activities and assessment material, will be entirely accessible online at any time and providing learners the opportunity to work at a pace to suit their requirements.

Once accredited this will compliment BTC’s strong Health and Safety training offer that currently supports many employers locally.
