Bridgwater College’s Team BC Basketball hosted Exeter College on Wednesday 11 February. Both teams started off strong with Liam Vickery scoring 8 points for Team BC in the first quarter. Jack Williams and Jack Chillingworth added baskets of their own to give the home side a 15 point quarter.

However Exeter were taking higher percentage shots close to the basket and crept ahead by 10 points. Team BC couldn’t bring the score line any closer despite some tough defence by Adrian Zamojda resulting in 5 personal fouls which put him out of the game.

Exeter pressed for the majority of the game but Team BC handled it well most of the time and only made a handful of mistakes due to the pressure. Unfortunately when they beat the press they failed to execute which resulted in many fast break finishes for Exeter.

Final score: Team BC 39 – 91 Exeter College
