The new, dedicated team have been given the remit to design and deliver training with the sector, for the sector, and are extremely eager to move into the brand new state-of-the-art National College for Nuclear Southern Hub training facility in Cannington, which is now only weeks away from completion.

The Southern Hub will train the sector’s future engineers, scientists, managers, leaders, project controllers, designers etc., required to meet the needs of the skills forecast.

The team have built the programmes aligned with the National College for Nuclear methodology, ensuring programmes utilise blended delivery techniques consistent with nuclear behaviours in order to create capable work-ready employees for the sector.

Head of the National College for Nuclear (Southern Hub) Paul Goss said,

“Bridgwater & Taunton College are committed to deliver a training and education experience that exceeds industry expectations. The new team are highly motivated, and together with our sector and educational partners are now delivering a curriculum that equips students with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed by the industry.”
