Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) hosted Huish last month in the first match of the Women's Rugby season. Both sides played excellent Rugby, with our team showing plenty of skill when in attack.

BTC had a squad of 13 players, six of which, had never played rugby before!

They were strong ball carriers in attack, offering some great passes and offloads. In defense, the tackling improved during the game with the girls putting in some hard hits. Amelia was the tackler of the game not letting anyone pass her. Taylor scored some great tries, running through numerous players from the opposition. Both Jess and Izzie made lots of ground throughout the game, with Chloe and Ashely in support to ruck over and secure the ball.

Overall it was a great first game, with all girls smiling as they left the field after the final whistle.
