Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) invited the public to a Creative Arts exhibition on the Bridgwater campus to celebrate the many student achievements of the academic year.

Creative Arts students proudly presented incredible, varied work to family, friends, and the local community, welcoming all.

Whether using the event as a springboard into creative careers, or as a platform to higher education, students utilised the opportunity to broaden their portfolios and highlight their talents.

Within the exhibition, a spectrum of creativity was on display, from painting, sculpting, illustration and photography, to graphic design, animation, fashion marketing and textiles.

Vicky Knowles, Course Leader, said,

The exhibition was a huge success and showcased the culmination of our students’ hard work over the duration of the academic year. We wish all students well for their chosen next steps.

As a college, BTC is proud to support students wherever their destination upon finishing their course.

This year, students are progressing onto courses across a range of institutions, including Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and University Arts London – London College of Fashion.

Included within the exhibition were students from the following courses: Level 1 Creative Arts, Level 2 Diploma in Art, Level 3 Applied Extended Diploma Art and Design, Level 3 Extended Diploma in Fashion Business and Retail, A Level Fine Art, Photography, and Fashion Textiles.

Vanessa Hughes, Head of Creative, Digital, and Professional Studies, said,

The BTC Creative Arts staff team were proud to present this years’ student’s work, and we would like to thank students, parents, and guardians for their support throughout the academic year. We wish all students the very best for their bright futures, whether continuing to study at BTC or beyond.
