Seven Bridgwater & Taunton College football players have recently been selected to represent the Somerset FA U18 Representative side to face Northampton on Saturday 30 September.

Liam Kingston, Oliver Hucker, Jordan Lovibond, Max Cattle, Harry Butler, Charlie Dodd and Thomas Creed will all feature for the representative side. They are all current students at the College, combining their study of various Sports courses with high-level training and coaching and a comprehensive games programme.

All the players have gained this honour through their excellent performances for the Team BTC Elite Male football squad as well as putting on outstanding performances for the Team BTC U18 squad in the South West Youth Counties League on a Saturday.

Tom Sage, Team BTC Elite Men’s Coach and Manager of Team BTC U18s said,

“We are tremendously proud of the seven players making the county team and the opportunity they will now have to represent the college and themselves at county level. The programme on offer at Team BTC gives students the best platform to go on to representative football and further afield.”
