Cannington Golf Centre recently held a Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning and raised £235 from refreshment sales and a 9-hole competition.

Both members of the Golf Club and the public attended the Coffee Morning where a variety of cakes were on sale. Players also worked up an appetite playing a 9-hole competition, where a £2 donation was required, which member Alex Reed won, winning a box of golf balls from the Pro Shop.

Ron Macrow, Golf Centre Manager said,

“It’s great to be able to support charity events such as these, and welcome members of the community into the Clubhouse. It was a great day, with many people turning up to support the cause. Thank you to everyone who donated money and we hope to see you at other events at the Golf Centre in the future.”
