Students studying at Bridgwater College’s Cannington Centre for Land Based Studies celebrated the end of the academic year in style at their annual Summer Ball.
The ball was held at the beautiful Quantock Lakes Wedding and Events Venue near Nether Stowey, whose stunning scenic views and excellent service made for a truly magical night.
150 students dressed to impress at the event, dancing to live music from the Mangled Wurzels and DJ Master Blaster and enjoying the ice cream stand, a magician and novelty photo booth. The nights’ festivities included a special firework display for the students to celebrate the Student Accommodation at the Cannington Centre being awarded Ofsted grade Outstanding in its recent inspection.
Dan Gleeson, a Public Services Higher Education student at the College said,
“The venue was great, the music was good and it was a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year with friends who are leaving.”
Nesta Wellman, an Animal Management Higher Education student added,
“The fireworks, the food and the dance off was a worthwhile experience that I thoroughly enjoyed.”
Bridgwater College would like to thank all of the people who contributed to making the evening so memorable.
