In a game where two well matched sides met the game was decided by the hosts finishing their key moments.

Conceding half way through the first half when a midfield run wasn’t tracked, Team BTC conceded a second against the run of play from our own free kick. Watts had struck the post, plus Dodds and Coppin came close – however the home side added a third before the interval.

In the second period Team BTC changed shape and looked to break down the hosts defence, this almost bore fruit with Dodds hitting a post, Scott providing O’Halloran a half chance and Reed unable to finish a delightful ball from Biggs.

Exeter had opportunities themselves, but the defence Manley, Mason, Kruszynski, Sandford, Biggs and Wilkinson held firm. Although being the wrong side of the result 3-0 there was enough effort, learning and opportunities created to suggest the side should be back on track soon.
