Cannington Golf Centre will be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Thursday 23 July, from 11am, where members and non-members alike, are encouraged to attend the Clubhouse, sample some cake and donate money to charity.

In addition to the Coffee Morning, the Centre will be encouraging members to bring a non-golf-playing friend, to take part in a fun, 9-hole competition, with a prize for the lowest score! There will also be a number of stalls in the Clubhouse, such as plant sales from The Walled Gardens of Cannington.

Throughout the year Cannington Golf Centre holds family-friendly events, such as Taster Sessions, Quiz Nights and Trick Shot Shows, and members of the public are welcome along to join in, meet new people, and maybe even try a bit of golf!

Ron Macrow, Cannington Golf Centre Manager said,

“Macmillan is a great charity and we are hoping people will come along and get involved in the Coffee Morning and the other activities. It’s great to have new people come to the Centre, see what we offer and meet our members. We hope you can join us and raise money for a worthwhile cause.”
