This Association of Colleges South West League game saw both sides needing a win going into the ‘winner takes all’ double header. Gloucester started out brightly taking a swift 6 – 0 lead. But Team BTC fought well to take the first quarter 20 -16. Team BTC’s pressure in defence paid off as we extended our lead to 9 points come half time.

In the third quarter Gloucester came out fighting and forced their way past a lapsed Team BTC defence, stealing the lead by 1 point going into the final quarter.

Stunned by Gloucester's persistence, Team BTC had to dig deep and work harder as a unit in the final quarter. Team offence for Team BTC paid off after some strong attacking plays and an important ‘three pointer’ from B Stubbs saw Team BTC take advantage of their momentum and regain the lead to win by 4 points.
