Business student, Will Norman, flew to the Netherlands to begin his three week placement in Hoorn to study at our partner college Horizon College.

Will is staying with a host family and is experiencing Dutch traditions in the run up to Christmas. For the first week, Will will be attending lessons at Horizon College with the aim of exploring Dutch trading culture. He will then be hoping to put some of this newfound knowledge into practice whilst on a work placement in week two with Hema, a Dutch department store.

The opportunity for Will to study and train abroad is funded by Erasmus+ as part of a European project called EMEU4ALL which aims to increase opportunities for young people to study and train abroad. This activity was coordinated by the Bridgwater & Taunton College Erasmus team with collaboration and support from the Business department at the College's Taunton campus.
