Bridgwater College is proud to once again be hosting the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards this year, with the prestigious event taking place on Thursday 17 March 2016, at Bridgwater’s newest venue, The McMillan Theatre.
The awards were launched on Thursday 8 October 2015 at the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce breakfast networking event. Key sponsors of the event were in attendance, including, Pardoes Solicitors, Sedgemoor District Council, Milsted Langdon Chartered Accountants, and Bridgwater College.
There are eleven award categories available for businesses to enter. The categories are Micro Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, International Trader of the Year, New Business of the Year, Community Engagement Award, Family Business of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Customer Service Excellence, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Independent Retailer of the Year. Two of the categories, Young Entrepreneur of the Year and the Community Engagement Award, boast an attractive £1000 bursary for the winners. As an additional incentive, Somerset County Cricket Club have generously agreed to give the first 50 nominations a pair of tickets to a 50 over match during the 2016 season.
