In preparation for their examinations, Bridgwater College students studying Sociology met and received a presentation from PC Bryant.
Students were treated to a 90 minute session in which they actively discussed the role of policing in the 21st century, how to successfully apply to become a police officer and what issues face the service in today’s society.
Ian Luckhurst, Programme Manager for Sociology said,
“This is a unique opportunity to allow our students to ask key questions from a very experienced police officer. It is hoped that this event will not only help those wishing to enter the police, but equally allow our learners to apply today’s experience to sociological theory for use in their summer exam.”
