Bridgwater & Taunton students studying Computing and Games Development attended the Euro-Gamer convention as and educational visit.
This educational visit was extremely beneficial with regards to learner’s development, as the learners were able to liaise with independent games developers and gain an understanding of the expectation within the industry, as well and develop networking opportunities.
Furthermore the learners were also able to gain valuable knowledge from leaders with the games market such as EA sports, Bethesda, Ubisoft, etc. This opportunity has also had a major impact on the learners’ development of knowledge and skills with the computing and games development industry.
New technologies were also promoted at this event that is directly link to the learners’ curriculum in line with augmented and virtual reality.
