It was an amazing effort from the Team BTC Netballers in their recent home game against Strode College.

The players worked hard throughout the game to keep putting pressure on the opposition, with Caitlin Howe (GK), Fiona Willmont (WD) and Rhi Crabtree (GD) making good interceptions in defense. Once the ball got turned over in the circle, the whole team were in a great rhythm, bringing the ball down-court with the help of the centre court players Hollie Davies (C) and Grace Rennie (WA).

At half time, after great efforts from everyone, Team BTC were in the lead 21-13.

After half time, Strode College tried hard to bring it back, but shots from BTC’s Alicia Clapp (GA) and Ellie Hooper (GS) kept going in. Assistance from Alex Davey (WD) and Lucy Steele (WA) making interceptions and Sofia Lourenco-Dias (GD) stepping in also helped keep the ball flowing down court. The whole team pushed right until the final whistle, and the final score was 49-35. It was a great effort from all the players.

Player of the Match went to Alicia Clapp, voted by Strode College for her hard work and consistency in Goal Attack.
