Team BTC 33 – 21 SGS 2

Team BTC played SGS on Wednesday, on what started as an incredibly close game with the score, 5-6 to SGS. In the second quarter BTC pulled away with fantastic team work, with defensive turning over the ball consistently and the attack worked well with each other to place the ball around the opposition.

This resulted in a 17-8 score to BTC. The second half saw consistent defensive interceptions and calm and steady play down the court. The team played so well together and worked seamlessly down the court, the final score was 33-21 to BTC.

Player of the Match – Eleanor Fewings, for playing out of position at GA with fantastic movement and great shooting.

Men’s 2 Football

SGS 3  1 – 3 Team BTC

BTC Men’s 2 finished their final game before Xmas with a 3-1 win over SGS.

With BTC playing with the strong wind behind them in the 1st half they took a 3-0 lead with goals coming from Jake Meads, Harrison Henley and an own goal.

Against the wind in the 2nd half, BTC coped with the pressure very well. With some stand out performances from Ryan Hibbert, Archie Peacock and Jake Meads.

The whole squad were magnificent and a great way to finish 2023 off.
