Women’s Football

Team BTC 7 – 1 Exeter

Team BTC hosted Exeter for their penultimate league game of the season. Team BTC played the majority of the first half with ten players but still managed to break the deadlock and go into the second half 1-0 up.

Team BTC quickly gained some momentum after an early goal in the second half to open the flood gates. BTC were getting forward and countering effectively to get the win and are now AoC Cat 1 League Champions.

Men’s Rugby

Team BTC 0 – 10 Exeter

Men’s rugby took the trip down to Devon to face a well-organised Exeter team. Team BTC battled strongly in difficult conditions but failed to capitalise on their territorial pressure through some inaccuracy and naivety of play. Exeter, on the other hand, were clinical in taking their opportunities resulting in a 10-0 loss for Team BTC.

Netball

Team BTC 37 – 46 SGS

A close game between teams. Within the first three quarters, the teams were back and forth throughout, although SGS started to pull the score line away within the final quarter. BTC worked well to bring the ball down the court, with all players working together to drive for the ball and support teammates. With a new combination in defence of Kasey Davison, Katie Garrett and Ria Hatch, they all put pressure on the opposition to the turn over the ball and bring it down the court, with support from Amelia Leavy. SGS pulled away with the score in the final quarter, 37-46 to SGS. A nine goal deficit is a huge improvement on the previous meeting of the two teams.
