Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) is pleased to announce the launch of their exclusive Somerstage Associate Programme.
BTC has joined forces with the renowned musical theatre school Somerstage to develop the ground-breaking and exciting ‘Somerstage Associate Programme.’
Designed to support Musical Theatre students in elevating their triple threat skills, this collaboration brings over 15 years of expertise in the professional Musical Theatre arena directly to the students.
The Somerstage Associate Programme is meticulously crafted to cultivate the talents of aspiring performers with dreams of a flourishing career in the industry.
Whether students excel as actors, singers, dancers, or aspire to become the ultimate triple threat, the comprehensive training will furnish learners with the indispensable skills required to shine on stage.
These masterclasses will be led by Lisa Bonser, Tim Bonser, Dean Brammall, and Phoebe Petrov, industry professionals who have graced iconic stages in the West End and international touring productions of Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, Spamalot, South Pacific, and Jackie The Musical.
Their experience encapsulates an incredible array of roles within the industry, including Choreographer and Musician for Sir Cliff Richard, Movement Coordinator for Peaky Blinders, Assistant to Nadine Coyle (Girls Aloud), and Swing, Dance Captain, Actor Musician, and Understudy in various musicals.
From mastering audition techniques to understanding how to forge connections with agents, students will benefit from insider tips and personalised mentorship that will equip them with the tools necessary to thrive in the industry.
